Anthony brings over 25 years of estate agency expertise, having begun his career in 1999. He has built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and exceptional market knowledge. His experience spans sales, lettings, valuations and development, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the property landscape. Known for his calm, considered approach and strong client relationships, Anthony is committed to delivering a high-quality, personalised service. Those same qualities guided the creation of Oliver & Akers, where Anthony set out to build an agency that treats clients with respect and delivers a dependable, straightforward service. As the Co-Founder of Oliver & Akers, he continues to drive standards and support clients in achieving the best possible outcomes for their property plans.

Vic Akers OBE co-founded Oliver & Akers with a clear focus on community, honesty, and personal service—values that have shaped the business from day one. Well known locally and nationally for his long and successful career in football, Vic spent many years with Arsenal FC, where he co-founded and managed the women’s team to numerous honours and served as kit manager for the men’s side. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for people have always defined his approach, both in sport and in business. Although no longer involved in the day-to-day running of the company, his influence remains at the heart of the business, and the team continues to uphold the principles he established.

As Chief Happiness Officer, he takes his role very seriously - greeting visitors, boosting morale, and ensuring no snack goes unnoticed. Known for his friendly nature and impeccable people skills, Bobby helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the office. Whether he’s offering emotional support during a busy day or simply napping in the sun, Bobby is an essential member of the Oliver & Akers family.

Permitted Payments Information

Refundable Holding deposit Capped at 1 weeks rent

Security Deposit - Capped at 5 weeks rent for annual rental under £50,000, or 6 weeks rent for annual rental over £50,000

Rent - The agreed monthly rent

Changes to tenancy - Capped at £50 inc VAT

Early termination charge - Not exceeding the landlord’s financial losses

Late payment of rent - Interest of 3% above BoE base rate for each day the rent is late, once it is 14 days overdue

Replacement keys - Reasonable costs or give the tenant the option to purchase themselves

Utilities, council tax, communication services, TV Licence etc - Tenants own responsibility unless otherwise stated in contract
